Woah! Has it really been over a month since I last posted?
Damn time flies by when your busy! The last month has been very hectic with socialising and sorting stuff out for my holiday. Which went spankingly well thank you! Obviously the week I returned in the end of July I was busy socialising some more, but sadly I also came down with a striking virus. Came close to being hospitalised amazingly and have spent the last 2 weeks recovering while working!
Yes you heard right! I’m currently working full time at a established accounting firm in Cambridge, got in via work experience from my dad, and its going pretty well! But I’ll post about that later!
Oh one more thing. This post is coming to you from my new Dell Studio 1558 laptop, yes I’m a Dell lover now, and I must admit apart from the glaring screen it is a mighty product!
PS. Hopefully activity will pick up after this week!

I finally completed enough of the review to post it. Sorry for the delay however I’m appearing to have quite a hectic social life the moment so haven’t had time to analyses it in detail and post a coherent wall of text!

Just a quick peek at a few games I’m currently playing to give you an idea of how good the Dell Streak is.

I noticed after looking at a few youtube video’s and other blogging sites that most people seem to be very messy in how they arrange their widgets and Apps on the Dell Streak. So I thought I’d share my method.

Just a quick Video giving you a brief idea of what’s going to be coming up in the review.

Just a quick post to give you an idea of the camera quality!
First image is of a white rose bush in my back garden from a few feet away. Pretty good for a mobile!

The second image however is a bit more impressive! I took a close up image of a pink rose bush in my back garden as well.
I am very impressed!

Amazingly the Dell Streak is now available unlocked direct from Dell for only £449. This is a heft £50 more to get it away from o2 although if you love freedom this may be for you. I myself have gone for the o2 £30 a month contract. It’s a good deal in my opinion. But check back later for my post analysing all the offers in detail to provide you the best idea of cost.
Don’t forget to check back for my Full Indepth Review of the Dell Streak appearing later tomorrow this weekend!

Gmote is a superb program. From previously owning a iPod Touch 2G for over a year and having been used to using the superb software AirMouse during that period I have gotten used to controlling my Computers Media collection from afar. I was hoping for another similar program to allow me to do this on Android.
Gmote turns Android into a remote control for a computer, allowing users to run movies and music at a distance. It supports all of the standard remote control features such as play, pause, rewind, volume controls etc. It also has a built-in file browser that lets you select what to play.
Gmote is infact, in my opinion, far better than AirMouse even though it’s a free Application. I would infact be happy to pay up to £4.99 to use this product once it’s a bit more polished with a prettier UI. But you can’t fault it’s current achievements!

Another key Application that I would be shocked to not be included on every phone is some type of Task Killer. Many of todays Smartphones do have enough power to run a lot of applications at once and in the background, however to conserve battery as well as to enable that 3D game that extra bit of speed using these apps to remove the memory hogs is truly useful!
